Vietnam is a country with a rich cultural identity and traditional customs. Vietnamese people often try to keep and impart Vietnamese culture to the next generations as much as possible. 1)Buddhism

2)Catholicism

About 10% of the world’s population is now Catholic .As the result, Catholicism is also a popular cult in the world and Vietnam. The Catholic Church use to talk about a single, original and founding church  of Christo god. The Vietnamese communist community is part of the Roman Catholic church. During the prosperous period,the world had the name for Catholic Vietnam was “Head of the Church in the Far East.”

3)Protestantism

The Protestant denomination  used to describe the church that originated from the 1st century reforms by Martin Luther. Protestantism introduced into Vietnam at the same time as Catholics with a group of European faithful, who founded the church in Hai Phong in 1884. The this result, it opened the development of Protestants in other areas. 4)Islam

5)Caodaism

A new sect founded in Vietnam in the early 20th century. Caodaism means the highest place – where God reigns. Caodaism is a combination of many different sects (Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism). , Islam, Christianity, Shintoism. Currently, members of this sect live near the church in Tay Ninh province. The number of members is about 2 million people.

6)Hoa Hao

This is a small sect from Buddhism, founded by Huynh Phu So in 1939. Currently, the number of followers of Hoa Hao sect is over 2 million members. An Giang is the most crowded area with more than 900 thousand members.

7)Mother Worship (Tho Mau)

Described by the researchers as a primitive cult .Me (mom) in Vietnamese has the pronunciation of the Chinese word Mau. This sect originates from the rite of worshiping ancient goddesses. Because its nature is not a religion, Mother Worship is not organized and operates like other traditional sects. This result, different locations will have different specifications and different customs. This convergence originates from the north and is influenced by many other religions.
